外部ドメイン使用に関する注意喚起
本学では、大学が管理するドメイン（UT ドメイン）以外のドメイン（外部ドメイン）の使用については、それを使用する部局等に判断を委ねており、学内全体での審査は特に行わない運用となっています。

外部ドメインは、契約を終了して廃止する場合、他者が同じドメイン名を使用することが可能となるため、その危険性（詐欺サイト等への悪用、同一メールアドレスを作成することでの「なりすまし」やアカウント乗っ取りなど）について、以下の様な注意喚起をしています。

Notice Regarding the Use of External Domains
At our university, decisions regarding the use of domains other than those managed by the university (UT domains), namely external domains, are delegated to the respective departments or units that use them. As such, there is no university-wide review process in place.

When an external domain is discontinued after termination of its contract, it becomes possible for a third party to reuse the same domain name. This creates risks such as misuse of fraudulent websites, impersonation through creation of identical email addresses, and account hijacking. For this reason, the following materials have been issued as advisories:
